Rewild The Wild is an organization dedicated to gaining global awareness of the mistreatment of wild horses across the United States. For years, these magnificent creatures have been taken away from their homes, rounded up by helicopters, separated from their family, and placed in inhumane holding facilities or sent to kill pens. Livestock, oil refineries, and mines then replace these horses living on public land. Shockingly, in 2023, the round-up program alone cost taxpayers 157.828 million dollars.
Our organization focuses on educating those who wish to take positive steps towards saving the Wild Horses and Burros, expanding our reach to inspire others who may not know of the damage being done, and taking immediate action to change these harmful practices and restore the horses to their habitat.
Everyone has a wild heart that needs to be cared for - not just our animals.
